Our drivers and company staff are trained to comply with both HIPAA and OSHA regulations. We know how to efficiently handle all types of medical specimens and samples. All of our trucks are equipped with refrigerated coolers that can handle various types of medical specimens. We also have the capability to haul frozen samples as well.
Have drivers completed special training?
Yes. In addition to general delivery service training, our drivers learn the following practices and procedures:
- HIPAA Privacy Standards
- How to handle OSHA required spill kits
- JCAHO compliant, in particular, complete chain of custody record including real time proof of delivery (pod)
- Use of three (3) compartment coolers (room temperature, refrigerated and freezer)
